Soroptimist International of the Chino Valley, Inc. is now accepting applications for the Live Your Dream Educational & Training Awards for women (LYD) for 2021.  The Live Your Dream Awards offers three levels of cash awards:  SICV Club level, Region level and National level.  Eligible applicants can submit their application through November 15.  Ultimately a LYD finalist has the potential to receive up to $16,000 to help offset tuition costs, purchase books, get transportation or find reliable child care. Women eligible to apply are the main source of income for the family and are attending an undergraduate program or vocational skills program.  For more information, find eligibility requirements and apply online

Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of their work in their communities.  We envision a future where women and girls have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams.  To accomplish this, club members administer our Dream Programs in order to help women and girls gain access to education.

·         Attend a meeting!  SI Chino Valley club meets on the first, second and third Thursday of each month (except for July) at 7:30 am in the Chino Youth Museum. *Please note that due to COVID-19 all meetings will be held via ZOOM.  You may contact any member to get access to a meeting.

STEPPING UP project is a half-day seminar for Sixth grade girls who are transitioning into the Seventh grade.  The program includes guest speakers covering topics which are relevant to girls attending middle school. A fashion show and lunch is provided.  Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend and observe.  Girls attending will need to register in their sixth grade classroom
