Live Your Dream Award:  Soroptimist International of the Chino Valley, Inc., is accepting applications for their signature program, the Soroptimist Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women. The Chino Valley club will provide a $1,500 cash grant to its award recipient, who will then advance to the Soroptimist Golden West Region level, where recipients could receive up to an additional $5,000. The program culminates with three finalist $10,000 awards.

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award (formerly the Women’s Opportunity Award) has been helping women around the world since 1972. This program provides cash grants to women who are working to better their lives through additional schooling and skills training. Recipients can use the Live Your Dream Award to offset costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education or additional skills and training. This includes tuition, books, childcare, carfare or any other education-related expense.

    You are eligible to apply if you are:

         A women with primary financial responsibility for yourself and your dependents

         Attending an undergraduate degree program or a vocational skills training program

         Have financial need
